Properties

Property values are saved in the ADE file. Airport Design Editor will read values for Color and Brightness from a bgl file but will always default the separation to 200ft. That is it does not read the information from the bgl file. This is because of the way that ADE calculates separations. Values for each string can be slightly different also they are generally slightly below the specified separation. Repeated reading and writing would soon result in spacings of a few feet! As stated in the property dialog these properties apply to ALL apron edge lights

1. Brightness

Brightness is how bright the lights appear. 1.0 is the default brightness. Increase for brighter lights and decrease for dimmer lights.

2. Color

Click the colored area to open a picker and select the new color. Default color is Blue.

3. Separation

Separation is the distance between lights in a string of lights. Thanks to help from Don Grovestine these should now always have a start and end light although as a result the separation of lights in different edges (lines between vertex points) may be slightly different. The default for all stock airports is 200ft(60.96m)
