You can zoom the ADE display in and out using the center mouse wheel or plus and minus keys.   The current zoom level is shown here

Airport Design Editor can operate in multiple modes as set on the main toolbar.   This shows the mode that ADE is currently operating in.

This area shows whether you have the Shift and/or Control keys depressed

How many aprons there are in the current design.   FSX has a limitation of 254 aprons in an airport.   The background color of this indicator will turn yellow if you get near that number and red when you get to it

Assigned parking is the number of parking spots that have one or more airline codes associated with them. There is a limitation of 254 and this indicator will help you keep track.   There does not appear to be any limitation for parking spots that have no airlines codes assigned to them.

The stock folder and file associated with the airport

Whether or not ADE found SimConnect.   ADE will operate without SimConnect being present but you will not be able to connect to FSX.
