FAQ and Gotchas

This section covers those questions that are often asked and also things that you should know about the way that   ADE works and how FSX handles airport scenery.

• Caps Lock and Taxisign Properties Dialog.   You should make sure that you have your Caps Lock Key turned OFF when using the taxi sign properties dialog.   If it is ON then you may get unexpected results.   You do not need it on to place Upper Case letters into the   sign label.   Letters are automatically upper cased unless they are control characters.   If you wish to place an upper cased control character (for example L) then use the Shift Key.

• Compiler Fails with Boundary Fence Not Recognized.   This happens because you are using the original version of BglComp from the deLuxe Edition DVD.   This has a bug in it.   You need to download and install at least SP1a of the SDK from www.fsinsider,com to deal with the problem.
